...might look a little more feminine with highlights....
Who knows. maybe it will work out. i really like my highlights. i've been aching to do it for months.

2 1/2 glorious years of umph...& now...
I have a really sad story to tell......dim the lights shall we..?
Ahem ahem
My computer crashed.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
My heart is sobsob broookenn. sobbbb. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh. [i'm being extra dramatic for affect]
I'm really hoping i didn't lose all my precious pictures and journal stuff and everything.
I learned my lesson.
1) back it up.
2) do not put a computer on sleep mode and forget about it for three days, only to come back and find you've fried your computer.
This is part of the reason i've been gone. i'm too bitter to use this other computer...the one i'm typing on right now. plus it's usually occupado by other people.
BUT. the good news is that i was proclaiming my sadness to one person at work who SO HAPPENED to fix computers on the side. he might be able to fix it! i'm bringing my computer in tomorrow to have him look at it. he said something about the mother board and what not. he gave me hope that it might be fixable and maybe i didn't lose everything after all.
Let me tell you a little secret about me and my computer. we go way back...back to the good old 12th grade. my composition teacher told the class about an essay contest by the rtc. i ignored it. i never win contests. sounded like a waste of precious brain exertion to write an essay.
The morning it was due, my friend asked if i was doing it. no i wasn't. but she was. i decided, "what the hay, i'll give it a whirl." two hours later the essay was manufactured.....How does using the RTC reduce my carbon footprint?....
Then guess what. i won. & what did i win? myyy precccciouus... laptop! & it was the best moment ever to think about how i almost didn't do it, but did, and ended up getting a laptop that has changed the course of my schooling and such. it was 90% of the reason i got through college. (well, it played a big part, ok?)
This is where i would attach the pictures of me winning the laptop....and of me using the laptop....and..and.....sniiiiiff....but all those pictures are locked in it's preciously fried memory.
Don't know whatcha got til it's gone, eh?
But. maybe ronsky will fix it....ronsky, you may just be a lifesaver. of computers. & i will make you oatmeal chocolate chip cookies if you are.
ADD: this is the first time i've been on my computer since ronsky fixed it (it's 1/24/13). so now, here are the pictures of me and my technologically manufactured true love:
Now if that's not commitment, i don't know what is. i guess my laptop's diagnosis was a stroke. but he survived. thank juju of the skies.
