Grandma Boston
She is just as bright as ever. so funny. so intelligent.
This thanksgiving ended up being so amazing after our first plan fell through. i actually like that the first plan fell through. remember the blasers? well, my family was planning to drive up & see them this year. it's pretty much tradition. the big heart-breaker though --- i had to work on thanksgiving. which meant i would go to work, come home, and eat out of a small thing of ice cream while watching a movie in the dark lonely living room as my family spent the holidays in utah with the rest of my family.
I braved it up and was ready to make it work. i put in my head that it would be a great thanksgiving regardless. the biggest disappointment was that i wouldn't be able to see my great grandma, which made me really sad because i've been wanting to see her for a long time. you know, before i can't anymore...
But then!!! i found out at work that i only needed to work half-day. And then!!!! my family's plans to go to st. george for thursday fell through because the blasers were going out of town. so we had thanksgiving at my sister's house with grandpa and grandma cherrie. it was awesome. no home-alone business.
And finally!!!!! grandma and grandpa bob stopped by to eat dinner with us ON THEIR WAY to st. george from picking up grandma boston in southern california! so we got to visit with her sooner than we anticipated! better yet, on thanksgiving!! then we went up to st george on saturday to spend time with the entire family together & took way more pictures with all the generations together.
Great grandma boston :: Grandma :: Dad :: Amy :: Emma --> equaling 5 generations all together in one place at one time.
ashley glowed. i told her so
me, grandpa, grandma cherrie
so she stopped and smiled for the picture. never. happens. and she glowed even more. she will make this her facebook profile picture one day.. haha
For now just know: my lightning goddess rocks.
